So…what’s the BIG IDEA here?! Well, this space hosts an ever-growing collection of different faith-based materials and resources for kids. What are we talking about exactly? Let’s see. We’ve got some solid summer VBS content and a fun Christmas skit that’s perfect for including all your kiddos in a heart-warming play/talent show (which wasn’t a thing, but alas is now a thing). We’ve also got Let’s Build!, Foundation Blocks, which is basic Sunday School lessons that help kids understand the gospel in a real and applicable way.
Take a look at these things, this is the kind of stuff you’ll find here:
Right, but let’s not forget about some other FREE things you’ll find here, too! Some super great resources for those who are leading kids programs and/or teaching Sunday School. We’ve got 3 curriculum teaching resources as well as some Christmas and Easter coloring pages for kids (and adults, who are we kidding?). Plus, there’s a blog filled with ideas and suggestions, perfect for any folks engaging in the chaotic world of #kidmin.
This is the kind of stuff you’ll find here, too:
Sooo…who is behind all this Big Idea! Curriculum stuff? It’s me, Abby! Writing curriculum, developing training and running (super-hyped but super-structured) kids programs was my full-time life for 20ish years. Now I’m in what I call my ‘passion-project’ era. This isn’t my full-time job, nor do I wish it to be. I’m quite happy with all this simply being my creative outlet.
So, here’s what you’ll find here:
Re-worked Sunday School lessons I’ve taught a gazillion times over the years, only now they have my own personal flair and design to them.
VBS packages that I’ve spent hours upon hours developing for friends and old colleagues, great content that would be a shame to just store away on my hard drive and never make use of again.
A blog full of #KidMin stuff which is basically just an open storage unit for a bunch of the cool things we did in Sunday School over the years; ideas that are just too good not to share with others still working with kids.
